Formed in late 2021, Bend is the merger of the sonic experiences of Kyle Green, Ben Wixson, and Robert Duncan, all of whom spent their formative years in Detroit’s underground music scene. While traces of earlier projects are present in Bend, the band draws on sounds from the independent music scenes of the United Kingdom and the United States in the ’80s and ’90s. Deplete, the debut full-length was released on April 15th, 2022.
